One kind Heart empowers and develops talented youth refugees in different refugees camps and cities in East African Countries, Great Lakes Region and hosting countries through the power of music and entertainment to bridge divides, connect communities, and heal the wounds of war and bring the hope to the hopeless people.

One Kind Heart is seeking to improve and support talented youth and refugees through music and entertainment in partnership with different organizations in the United Kingdom.
Our Aim

✓ To intervene in the era of peace making , reconciliation and cultural integration among refugees and host communities.
✓ To raise the awareness of different kinds of abuse.
✓ To create a space of cooperation and living together between refugees and surroundings.
✓ To fight against earlier marriage and pregnancy among young girls.

1. Refugees and Asylum Seekers
A refugee is someone who has been forced to flee his or her country because of persecution, war, or violence. A refugee has a well-founded fear of persecution for reasons of race, religion, nationality, political opinion or membership of a particular social group. Most likely, they cannot return home or are afraid to do so. War and ethnic, tribal and religious violence are leading causes of refugees fleeing their countries.
An asylum seeker is someone who is also seeking international protection from dangers in his or her home country, but whose claim for refugee status has not been determined legally. Asylum seeker must apply for protection in the country of destination, meaning they must arrive at or cross a border in order to apply.

One Kind Heart seeks to create a protective environment around children, so that they may not only survive but thrive in their communities. One Kind Heart programs strive to ensure that physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual needs of the most vulnerable children are met within caring and protective families and communities focusing on activities that prevent them from falling into crisis or harmful situation through music.
